Concepts International (SCI) is looking to hire a full-time Windows IT
specialist to join our SmallBusinessIT (SBIT) managed services team.
The SCI SBIT
team provides full-service IT technical services to small businesses
running Windows servers as their core IT infrastructure. Using
sophisticated automation tools, we monitor our clients’ IT
infrastructure remotely from our Nashua, NH headquarters. The SBIT team
supports the IT requirements of both external clients and SCI.

As a member of the SCI technology team
the candidate will provide a broad range of IT support services to SCI
and our external SBIT customers. This includes installing, configuring,
supporting and troubleshooting; Windows desktop/workstations, Windows
Servers, networks, peripherals and common business software products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical expertise and
deliverables for projects and services associated with all areas of
the Windows environment.
Interface directly with clients
via e-mail, telephone and our trouble ticket management system to
resolve issues as they arise.
Familiar with industry best
practices for configuring and managing Windows desktops, Windows
Servers, Hyper-V hosts and networks.
Demonstrated experience in
building images, packaging applications and deploying configurations
in a variety of organizations.
Proven experience in deploying
backup/recovery, security, anti-virus/malware and virus/malware
Demonstrated ability to diagnose
and troubleshoot performance problems.
Design and implement IT solutions
to meet our internal and external clients’ IT needs and requirements
Provide 1st - 3rd level support
for all Desktop related services
Maintain and troubleshoot
networking routers, firewalls, IDS, VoIP
Ability to work as part of a team
or independently to deliver projects and services on time
Identifies opportunities for
Maintains all relevant
Use scripting languages and tools
to automate monitoring and repetitive management tasks.
Ability to work on multiple
projects and requests simultaneously
5 years IT experience supporting
3 years Desktop Engineering
experience (Windows XP, 7 etc.)
Must have 3 – 5 years real business world experience with the following:
Bachelor Degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or related field
In depth expertise across desktop
platforms (Windows XP, Windows 7)
Experience with Microsoft and
Symantec deployment and packaging technologies
Proven troubleshooting skills in a
variety of disciplines.
Experience managing and owning
projects and deliverables
Virtual desktop and thin client
Networking technologies and
General understanding of Microsoft
desktop applications and tool sets
Microsoft Windows Server
environments and layered application such as Exchange and SQL
Hardware expertise (HP, Dell, SAN
Scripting and automation
